WE ARE JAVAN & DORAREG SMITH
Don't try too hard to pronounce our names. If you encounter our ministry and the only name you can remember is the Name of Jesus, that is fine by us. His Name is more than enough. Our passion is to point people to Christ, and our heart's desire is to spread the Love of Jesus and the Hope that is in Christ throughout the nations of the world. Both of us are graduates of Charis Bible College. Our ministry operates in English and Spanish, as we are each fluent in both languages.
ABOUT JAVAREG
Javareg Ministries was birthed in January 2017, but its conception was long before its birth. God dropped the seeds in our hearts from before we met as husband and wife, even while we were still children. The verse that drives us is Revelation 5:9-10, "And they sang a new song, saying: You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; For You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your Blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth." [NKJV]
Our passion is to open the Word through teaching, so that people from every tribe and nation fully embrace the finished, redemptive work of Christ on the Cross. God is giving definition to our ministry little by little as we move forward. Already we have traveled and found brothers and sisters in the Philippines, Uganda, Kenya, and Mexico, whose hearts are stirred just as ours, and other countries are near on the horizon. God gave us the English acronym "NETS," signifying "Nations Embracing The Savior." We want to be Net-Casters, Net-Menders, and Net-Workers.
When Jesus called His Disciples in Matthew 4, He found Peter and Andrew casting their nets (vs. 18-19), and He found James and John mending their nets (vs. 21-22). True Disciples of the Lord Jesus are equipped both to cast nets, for drawing in new believers, and to mend nets, for repairing broken hearts and lives. Javareg runs with this ministerial philosophy, and we welcome anyone whose heart is stirred in the same way to join or to "NETwork" with us.
